    Events Another Namesilo Increase....

We are writing to inform you that the registry, Verisign, will be increasing their prices for .COM domains starting on September 1, 2024. As a result, all domain registrars, including NameSilo, will need to increase their prices as well. We are reaching out to you because our records indicate that you have active or expired .COM domains in your account. We want to ensure you are aware of this upcoming change.

However, we have some exciting news for our Discount Program members! We are offering significant discounts on domain registrations and renewals, whether you need 1 domain or 5,000.

If you are not yet a member of our Discount Program, joining is easy and completely free. The only requirement to participate is to use account funds for your transactions. Signing up is simple, and you can easily toggle your participation in the Discount Program from within your account at any time. Don't miss out on these incredible savings!

It feels like every registrar is now raising prices around Sep 1st, I make a habit of paying all domain renewal fees in August now...

        Oops, I just noticed this:

        On September 1 2024 .COM registrations/renewals/transfers will change from $9.77 to $10.44

Still cheaper than almost all of the others.

Namesilo used to be good. Now their pricing is shit, plus messed up interface. Moving all domains from there to Porkbun and Dynadot.

I wonder if this runs afoul of antitrust laws' 'concerted actions' provisions...
