    Complaining about bad language

    Letter in the Independent newspaper:

    >>>>
While travelling to work this morning, I saw a young woman wearing a T-shirt bearing the striking slogan Practice safe sex - go fcuk yourself. I am aware of the vulgar advertising campaign on behalf of a leisurewear manufacturer, but I feel that this goes too far. We deserve to be protected from language like this. Are these people not aware that when the word "practice" is used as a verb, it is spelt with an "s"?
