Tech Paxum App scan QR code

While logging to Paxum on desktop PC I have this:
"Scan this QR code with your linked mobile device to access your account".

Scanning with phone's QR code scanner does not helps.
I am dumb enough and can't find this option inside Paxum App.

    Any ideas?

Edited: Using the phone's camera, you should see a link to the app where you can approve the login. Tried it on Android and it just works.

Scan it with the phone´s camera, it contains a link to open the Paxum app to approve the login.
Just tested on iPhone, opens a yellow link to click on.
          Maybe your phone is different...

I am getting strange long code while scanning with phone's scanner - pax:// - which can be copied, but not opened.

Edit: of course it can't be opened as it is not http.

Xiaomi on Android 14. Link starting pax:// - which is not http(s):// - and can't be opened.

This is a shortcode for the Android app. Check if Paxum has the necessary permissions, especially the camera. Also, if there is any additional system protection, it may block the application.

                  Strange.

Also, if the app on the phone is already open and logged in, the notification pops up and I can just tap on it to approve the PC login. No need for the QR.

For Paxum app was allowed camera and microphone.
                    Notifications was blocked.
After enabling it now I can login on desktop even without any scans of QR - only by approving in app.

                    Thanks.

They really should add a QR reader inside the Paxum app though, would make it a lot easier

As a 'non-tech' I don't know the viability, but thanks for your suggestion! I'll pass it along to the Devs
