Give it to a collection agency and fuck up his credit maybe??? Not sure how that works but worth looking into at least.

Continued refusal to pay the debt will result in a charge off being reported to a major credit bureau. Imagine the consumer's shame and embarrassment when he has to explain the CumGuzzlingWhores.com charge off when he applies for his next credit card or goes to refinance his house. And no, we do not need the consumer's social security number to add items to his credit report.
Doesn't this open the site owner, your company, and the credit beraeu up for a law suit according to the FCRA (fair credit reporting act)

Secret conversation recorded at Verotel-Verza offices:

              - Eva:

Mark, we don't have enough money to pay all the webmasters.

              - Mark:

What do you mean Eva? What about the reserve fund?

              - Eva:

Remember, we used the reserves for our new houses and cars ...

              - Mark:

Oh yeah, I remember now. That was cool!

              - Eva:

Maybe we can do chargebacks to diminish the payout.

              - Mark:

Go ahead Eva, and what's great is that we make an extra $ 15.00 per chargeback!

              - Eva:

And we don't even chargeback the amount to the members...lol... We really can fuck these guys. They can't do nothing....

              - Mark: I love this business ....

I think tkat credit cards are fucking stupid system, especially in USA.
I my country, if someone stole your CC, you can only call to bank to block it. You can't chargeback transactions (or you can, but not so easy).
So everyone is fucking careful about using CC !
I bet that most of chargebacked transactions is from assholes which was jacking off whole month and then chargebacked.
HOw is it possible that in USA you chargeback transaction, because 'No cardholder authorization' and they will not block it ?
Because if it is true, that it was stolen, then it should be damned blocked !
But fucking visa, banks and cc processors has nice profit from that.
Because you must pay $15 and more for chargeback.
So legal and stolen CC are making $$$$$$$$ for them in any case

the u.s. is also the only country that allows someone else other then the cardholder to use the cardholders credit card for purchases (ie, you are a friend of mine and i can use your card without verification). insane isnt it?

                          PornGuy,

Anytime you try to collect a debt from a consumer, you are subject to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). AdultRep is able to collect in all 50 states and we follow all licensing and collection requirements in every state that we do collections in. Of course, we do not have a collection license in every state and in those circumstances, we forward the matter to a collection agency that does have the ability to collect from consumers in that state. AdultRep maintains reciprocal collection agreements so that our clients have the ability to get their money back from consumers who chargeback in every state.

Just because there is a law that governs the collection of debts, doesn't mean we should ignore the rampant fraud that goes on in this industry. Our service gives webmasters a cheap and easy option to collect debts against the consumers who are robbing them -- while allowing them to stay compliant with all federal and state collection laws.

                            Kevin2,

Check our front page and then click on Chargeback Combat button. That'll take you to a page that gives our collection prices. We also offer a premium service for paysites that use merchant accounts. This service is designed to actually reverse chargebacks with the bank to keep your ratio below the 1% limit. Collections is a secondary focus. Contact me if you'd like to talk pricing on that.

Chargebacks on the net can't be argued. You can buy a flight to Singapore on the net with your credit card, fly there, come home, and chargeback your ticket and say you never went. They know you did but because of the internet loophole they have to do the chargeback....You might never get a flight with that airline again but hey.....With higher ticket items it doesent happen this way.

open communication lines between you or your billing agent and you will most likely not have this problem....

                                      Giverespect,

there are ways of fighting chargebacks.

For reducing US-based chargebacks, we start by looking for a positive AVS & CVV2 response. If you've received a Visa chargeback with reason code 461 or a MasterCard chargeback with reason code 537, that should be enough for the acquiring bank to re-present the chargeback to the issuing bank. Of course, some acquiring banks will not act on this information, but others will. Before we take on any client, we have them send a registered letter to their acquiring bank to get a formal copy of the chargeback re-presentment procedures. We adapt our process to fit the specific acquiring bank of our client.

We don't stop there, however. For banks that don't accept AVS/CVV2 as proof, we contact the customer directly and we ask them to drop the chargeback and obtain a refund directly from us, the merchant. This approach frequently works. Again, depending on the merchant bank, we get the customer to send us an e-mail with his driver's license number as confirmation or, if the bank won't take that as proof of a customer's intent to drop a chargeback, we send the customer a pre-filled auth form by mail that he needs to sign and return to us. Once we get that, we send it to the merchant bank.

If we fail to reverse the chargeback due to the customer being uncooperative, we proceed with collection activity to recover the amount chargedback plus the chargeback fee. We start with letters from our in-house collection agency and we progress to registered letters from an attorney's office. Hope this clears things up about our process for US-based chargebacks.

So... is it possible to "undo" a chargeback? Should I contact the fucktard and ask him to take it back and I'll refund him ?

No, once the charegback has been issued the bank gets there 15$ whether you win it or not.

                                            Tuga,

to know if you can reverse a chargeback it depends on the policies of your merchant bank on chargebacks.

When customers subscribe to our service there is a procedure to find out the policies of the merchant banks.

Another Way- Guaranteed to avoid the ratio threshold

There's one company doing a private deal for a few companies that will virtually eliminate the risk of ratio threshold problems altogether. In other words, even though they can't stop joedikhead from charging back on you, they can help so you don't go over the ratio threshold and get the fines, and possible loss of MA. It beats the h$ll out of plopping over $25k in fines and being blacklisted.

And don't bother to ask me to post details, there's no way I'd put it in a forum. I've used it twice myself in the last few months and saved some $$ and I've hooked up a couple of compadres.

Pop me an icq at 209-555-519 or email me if you want me to point you to the info. It isn't on a website.

As long as the card was not physical present, pin code used or card enrolled in mastercard securecode/verifed by visa the consumer always have the last word.

isn't there timeframes set for charge backs, like if your recurring and did 12 months you can only charge back one?
