AVS Question

Most have a cap on upsells if they even allow any at all.

Lets say im working with one that allows maximum 5 upsells in members area.

I have 400+ pages in my members area.

Can i put a link at bottom of all pages that says "Click Here For More Information" or something, that will lead to a page that has my sponsor link?

So every page will have that link, and it links to a page on my server that has a banner.

Is that concidered 1 upsell link, or 400?

then you either keep them or remove them based on the rules of the avs.

Yeah, you can do that. I've seen it done on most systems. There are better ways of wording that text though.

each avs is different....that's why asking them directly is important.

From what I have read on the subject, I would almost be 100% sure that would be concidered 400 links. Contact the AVS first of course, but I would bet a brand new $1 bill that I am right.

Would more than likely be counted as 400 links at most avs's.

As everyone's said, avs rules differ - some are much more flexible than others. Your best bet is to go through a list of avs services you might be interested in building for and see which one is easiest to work with.

It's not illegal if it's linked to your same AVS site's menu page which has proper banners and text to send the people to a sponsor. As long as you are linking inside that site to a menu you can do whatever the heck you want.

we allow 1 outlink (upsell) for every 5 pics. However, since we do not have a premium (recurring) membership, I would not suggest submitting a site with 400 pages, but rather submit 200 sites of 2 galleries each (we have a 20 pic minimum per site).

400 pages = premium avs site. most avs's have a cap on how many sponsor links your entire site can have.
