Yes thats true, but atleast if you have all your eggs in one basket, you can maintain the support with the one provider.

Yeah but my current host is pretty okay and I don't think I'd save much money so that's putting me off going through hassle of moving them over

Just went for Mojohost with a small VPS to try out.
I need more speed and less downtime than current host.

Good time to ask if you also can pay for 3 years at Mojo upfront with nice discount.
I prefer 3 years, if everything works you won't move after 1 year anyway.

If you don’t know how much you’d save, let Natalie and I make a proposal. We do a fully managed white glove move if you have support, so really your only burden is to test things before going live. We can be very convincing, you should email sales@ and quit being so stubborn

With regard to having all eggs in one basket, this should only be a concern if a web site owner is operating something outside of normal boundaries such as spam or something else abusive. We are very large with a 24 year track record of hosting this industry.

I already did and quote was about same price as current server, as good as quality is the hassle of moving it isn't worth it if that makes sense.

If you have some technical knowledge, you should consider setting up your own server at a cloud service provider like https://linode.com, or https://aws.amazon.com or https://azure.microsoft.com. Linode is my favourite as it is the easiest and cheapest to use. Azure is probably the best of the lot when it comes to features and security, but again iyou need to have a good technical background to take full advantage of their services.
