gfy seems like a reasonable place to ask about this

I need to do an std panel test, and am wondering what might turn up. I think I've had everything over the years except the big one(HIV). I thought that hpv and syphilis were lifelong diseases, but today I read that both go away with time. Does that mean I may come out clean as a whistle?

I told my gf things from my past life when I was drunk and now she sleeps with me fully dressed until I get tested

HPV goes away but not sure about syphilis. Both give themselves away with genital warts or chancres in your body (and both are transmitted by evil, lusty women of the night).

it does stop showing the symptoms as it slowly destroys your brain but it is still there and you can still pass it on

it is 100% curable if treated so no, it is not a lifelong disease if you get it

What about the antibodies? Can they be detected for life?
