I've actually read all the novels, so I pass on the nextflix version... maybe in the future if I get bored... in all fairness I've read all the Jack Reacher novels and the Netflix version is okay

Thing I hate about Netflix is that they create a show - finish season 1 then cancel it after I get hooked on it. Stop cancelling popular shows ! I don't want to get hooked onto anything else and the movies basically watched the good ones and wished I could find other ones that aren't there.

This + I have a brilliant way of watching Netflix. - I'm trying to find something to watch, then I switch to YT or some other platform.

I read that Evans was offered the main role in the movie which he refused and asked to play the villain instead. He’s perfect as Lloyd Hansen.

Yeah, you may know part of the story outline from the books but basically completely different. Very fun watch as its own thing though.
