ISP blocking email ports

993 for IMAP and 465 for SMTP. When asked to unblock the ports the support asked for IP address...

Is that the computers IP or email servers IP?

..is this a stupid question?

Stupid question , ask them to disable whatever blocks they have on your service that you don’t want anything blocked.
