Little PC help please

I accidentally dragged a folder to the edge of the screen (Windows 98) and now the contents of the folder are displayed as a toolbar. I know it's a stupid question, but someone help me get rid of it please. Right clicking there is no "close" and I can't uncheck it under the "toolbars" menu as everything is greyed out. Little help please...

... hahaha, happened to me once before ... pain in the ass, isn´t it ... just rightclick on the taskbar ... and you´ll find the sollution in the menue there. much better than deleting them all by hand ..

I tried that but the option is greyed out.

Put your pointer over the "line" at the top, click-hold-drag
to center of desktop, drop. Then click the x gadget
(upper right corner) and say "OK".

Then drag your folder back to where it goes.

Right click in a blank area of the unwanted toolbar. Select toolbars and remove the check mark next to the unwanted toolbar.
