I was just thinking that the other day when I opened up a box and found all my old burned CD's and realized i can't do that again - now everything goes on an MP4 stick for the van.

Rochard- you and I are from the day when creating a awesome mix tape made us famous LOL

I buy mp3 albums from Amazon. Sometimes they sell CDs cheaper than the mp3 album and they have an option where you can buy the cd and download the mp3 album the same day. So I basically get the cd but never open it.

but I remember back in the Napster and Limewire days of downloading mp3 files and burning cds

I was actually looking at some older Batman Blu-rays last night on Amazon. Streaming is cool but there still seems to be something missing with the quality.

I still have a small stack of Blu-rays of some of my favorites: Fight Club, Lord of the Rings, the 3 newer Batman's, etc. Though I haven't watched them in years.

Yup, I still love my blu-rays. I've become lazy just streaming lately. When the newest Fast & Furious came out I bought it on blu-ray. The sound quality is so much better on blu-ray so I need to watch for new big movies to buy

I have a few hundred blu-rays and a few hundred DVDs still

I do have a CD player in my Jeep that also plays DVDs but... I just keep Journey's Greatest Hits in there in the rare event I can't stream from my phone via bluetooth.

Why would you buy music? For $8/month I can stream everything under the sun with Amazon Music.
