AWS is fine with adult as long as you keep it legal
bandwidth is ridiculously expensive -- you definitely can't use them for CDN, and the bandwidth just to serve your HTML could easily cost more than the per-hour sticker price of your ec2 instance(s)
but their infrastructure is enterprise-grade -- smaller hosting providers might not be able to handle high traffic websites in some cases. AWS definitely can.
you get what you pay for, on small to medium size projects i'd prefer a smaller, cheaper hosting provider but AWS provides higher quality infrastructure...if you're willing to pay for it.
For adult projects, it might be difficult to make things profitable if you're running any type of free site. As soon as those tier 3 countries start dinging your server, the costs skyrocket.
Yep, we usually save adult industry companies at least 50% of their infrastructure spend when they move from AWS to MojoHost.

Besides the auto scaling yes but auto scaling no , upgrading a vm takes a few mins tho not something that matters unless your scaling up and down a lot then yes aws is great.

If you design your site to be a static site with an external CDN for example (VueJS + CDN) you can serve files from S3, no server needed with Lambda/Dynamo.
