That was the problem. Bloody music. Great for a piss up and a boogie but so loud even shouting you only got half a conversation. Even had I known who more people were talking (shouting) was very difficult.Originally posted by sarah_webinc

Hmmmm...wondering if the next event could be split? The music part was no good for networking or even chatting so what about a longer thing with somewhere that networking is possible late afternoon/early evening (meal?) then the bar thing afterwards? A charge to cover the meal wouldn't put too many off especially if we still get the free bar afterwards :DIgnorance is never bliss.
