Internext- No Direct Messaging??

Is it me (which it may be) or is there no way to just message someone attending the show without setting up a formal meeting?

Bit baffled by this one...

You have to propose a meeting (Hit the green "Request Meeting" button) and then it opens up a chat. It was the same for WMA. You can write in the meeting request that you'd rather just message as opposed to meeting, and they'll decline but keep chat open.

we could do it with direct messaging(we opened the after wma), but during the expo the purpose is to book meetings and do some business ;)

I have done a/b testing for this in other mainstream events we do and its more productive this way.

Asked many people and companies about this before the event, was also thinking to let it open, but most didnt want, they prefer the meeting slots as puts the people in a mood to do business. You can put your contact details in your profile if you want to connect and chat.
