Not in my experience. The people who beg for discounts and deals are the same ones who will have no problem harassing you to spend hours holding their hands, even when there is ample documentation on the issues they ask about, as they are too lazy to focus and read.

I'm 98% sure that I'm not going to sell it anymore; but I'm 50% sure that I will make a
open source free version.

I already have the free version in testing and it mixes all sponsors you want on the page
instead of clicking a sponsor name at the top for each sponsor.

I'm just not wanting to do support or deal with sales.

You're wrong. Buying with a discount people try it out and check how the product is supported. Words before the sale are worth nothing. If everything works well and support responds and provides assistance, it makes sense and move to a higher price. And if, for example, the support does not respond for 2 days (in my case), why bother and pay money further.
