    it says here:

    https://webslo.com/slo/knowledgebase...yarticle&id=69

    that...

Then click the Setup link at the bottom of php pages at the bottom of the page will be a message about the successful completion of the installation and displayed link for access to the admin panel ST.
so im guessing its install specific? more than just domain name / link?

re-install on a spare domain, and read the link it gives you, then try and translate it over to the install your stuck with ?

disclaimer : i have never used or installed smart thumbs ever in my life!

    ps GFY

So here goes..what I discovered was that although I switched servers to cloud based, the site PHP was now different. I thought it was upgraded to the latest PHP which it was not. So I had that done after a bit of back and forth. not sure why they didnt just update to the latest when I first asked. oh well. got to the install point...I first had to remember my smart scripts username and password. Downloaded the file. Had to figure out how to do FTP from a cloudbase. Its all in the WHM and cPanel. what another pain to figure crap out. The install went smooth until the mySQL errors. had to do a bit of research and discovered that the global mysql had to have a special setting. however, I could not actually do that and my hosting people had to change that. once they changed it, everything worked. I was using the right links to get to the admin the first time, but due to the php switching and old stuff, it no longer functioned. It does now. relearning everything. hopefully i can make 10k a year or 20k based on what I read, I shouldnt pray for $1mil. those days are gone. 100k would be considered doing really great. not my goal!

So i get into the admin. yay. next problem, Either I forgot how to build a website, or smart-scripts isnt working like it should. It seems as if the forums are no longer as active as they used to be with moderators taking weeks to months to reply. I have child sites that pop up errors saying the chmods are wrong, but they are exactly the same as the others. I have no clue what type of error is causing this stuff. I just want to try and get back into this doing some TGPs but i am almost thinking its not worth it due to the aggravation of a a fully service host that can't even figure out some of these issues.

I am wondering if it would be a better idea to turn these sites into blogs instead of TGPs

There are other tgp scripts out there I stoped using smart thumbs years ago when owners decided to try to fuck over owners of paid lics
