Nikon Pro Setup - Help Needed!!!

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to setup my Godox Xpro trigger with my Nikon D7200?

I used to use a different type of trigger which worked ok but I can't seem to get this one to work.
If I press the test button it connects and flashes but when I press the shutter button nothing happens.
I have both the trigger and receiver set to CH.1, manual mode 1/128

    Any help would be appreciated.

I know Neewer has different jacks and cables for camera remote vs flash trigger, maybe double check how its wired up?

We use Neewer lights but the trigger just sits on top of the camera. We do have a cable (sync?) but it doesn't seem to do anything?

I misread the question as using the remote as a camera trigger, versus a flash trigger. Sounds like it isn't getting a signal from the hot shoe. Is it in the hot shoe the right way? On my pocket wizard the transmitter fits in the hot shoe two ways, but the contacts only line up one way.

It only goes in one way it's got a screen.

What type of Neewer lights are you using? I don't know if your Godox trigger is compatible with your lights, but you should be able to use your Neewer lights in slave mode, and use your camera onboard flash, or regular external flash to trigger the Neewer lights as well. Hope this helps.
