Tons of accounts were hacked, claiming they'll send you 2x Bitcoin if you send them 1x

Some accts were: Obama, Bill Gates, @cashapp, @Bitcoin, @Binance, Elon Musk, Charlie Lee (Litecoin founder), and tons more.

Those big accounts use third party to organize and schedule their tweets. They grant access to these third party software so they post on their behalf. It is these third parties that get hacked, not Twitter. Well essentially the result is the same but I imagine it would be a little tricky to hack Twitter backend.

that´s still nearly 150 grand, most people were probably sending like 20 quid to see and then would send more, maybe less...
