Upgrading script to php 7+

I have a script I've used for years and it only works with php 5 something on my server. Is it a big deal to upgrade a script like this to work with the latest version of php? Or does it depend on the script?

What about this then? Is it possible to port two fields of data to a script like tgpx using a mysql database and scrap the old script?

Answers to both questions completely depend on the script. I'd talk to a programmer and see what they think.

Exactly. I want to use the TGPx script and I have a MySQL database with 30000 plus galleries. Description and gallery link to be imported into the TGPx script. Maybe I should contact Woj, I bet he'd know.

Yes you did. I downloaded it but have to upgrade PHP on my server. I used to use TGPX years ago. I appreciate that you've upgraded it and made it available. That's a generous thing to do.

However, I would advise other webmasters that TGP's do not make any money and that they should channel their energies into making more tube sites for video. Many people have told me that there are not enough tube sites online and there is a real opportunity there. There's no need to broadcast this tidbit either, the last thing anyone wants is for every damn webmaster to jump on the tube bandwagon.
