Tech Video Playback Issue

We are facing a very strange problem. On 4G connection in iPhone 11 mp4 video on JwPlayer hosted on CDN not playing.... but as soon as we switch on Wifi video start playing. Contacted CDN provider and they say all ok and no issue.... on 4g we are getting error, Error Loading Media, file could not be played. But same file played when use same browser, same video same site on wifi.

Customer from UK on using 4G having trouble.... any advice or any one know about this

Another vote for possible throttling.

Try this: switch to mobile, but also then connect to a VPN server and test playback again.

I have been seeing this error on some tube sites. I use Brave Browser, Thought it may have been the site throttling me because I block ads.

What do you mean by "on one site it works and the other it wont"? are you talking about 2 different sites hosted at the same or different locations?


Is it one site and when you try to play it though cellular data it doesn't play?

Yes they are 2 different sites with same hosting.... on same cellular network one site video play and one site doesn’t play....

What we are thinking is may be header referring issue but not sure
