I don't want to get into all the details but a programmer I considered a friend has gone missing. Punker Barbie introduced him, to me, way back and I haven't heard anything from him in about 3 years. He is living in Rosarita Mexico and told me a bunch of thugs stole his apartment and cut off his finger. All of a sudden, he goes silent.

Punker won't answer any messages, the emails I had that I believed to be directly connected won't answer, no FB updates except a bunch of Mexicans celebrating his birthday in weird fashion.

Where is Chazz?

I was about to say the same thing. I worked with Chazz many years ago at webmasterparadise when he was a key figure and at the time I was good friends with Punker. Sad to hear if anything has happened to him but I would hesitate contacting Punker and go right to the source and likely call the local police or find if his site(s) or servers are still going.

Maybe I am misreading and therefore misunderstanding your post here. Why would you suggest not reaching out to his daughter directly, and instead involve absolute strangers to possibly learn of his current whereabouts?

I've replied to Beaner directly, suggesting he find a way to reach Punker. Perhaps you can help him with this. Also Chazz, whose real first name is unknown, has one or more FB friends on his inactive profile. Maybe they know him better, and have an update they are willing to provide.

If all else fails, and I can get more information from any of his "industry friends", I will reach out to my contacts that live in the area Beaner mentioned, and see if anyone knows of him.
