Use this script?

I'm looking to change out affiliate codes across many pages at once from one central text or database location. I used to have a custom script many years ago but it wasn't very reliable

I don't use this but I have used other Yoast products in past and they are normally pretty good...

You can use it, it is quite useful if you have lots of affiliate links.

there are lookalikes, most are all free, just extra data and stats may cost you a premium version, but that's equal to 5 cups of coffee.

Using that script for a few years now (didnt got it from yoast), but dunno if it helps seo wise or not.

I actually added a little randomizer too. In case the link ends with the number 1 then it knows that there are multiple tours to choose from. So it randomly chooses one from the possible options. (to test out which tour converts better)

It does not, just make links look nicer. Search engine bot will still see real link.

Yeah I guess so, a disallow thingy wont stop google
Also I wouldnt put such script on a single domain and linking from all my domains to it.. to reveal my whole network to google also if the domain/server goes down your surfers cant get to the content.

No need to put it on single domain, pretty easy to deploy it on each site. And since it's same aff link, that leaves trace.

I'm using it on sites with no WP.. Thats a simple stand-alone script.

I use pretty-links or something like that but yoast make good plugins...
