Tech WP-Script Core - Cannot Deactivate or Delete?

A question for any users of WP-Script: On your Plugins page do you notice that there is no Deactivate or Delete option available under WP-Script Core as there are with other plugins?

I'm finding that I am no longer able to update other plugins or make changes to my widgets and I suspect this is caused by WP-Script so I'd like to temporarily delete the WP-Script Core to see if that helps. Deactivating each WP-Script component individually under their dashboard is a pain.

I had the same problem and chased after it for days. Drove me batshit crazy. I discovered that Cloudflare can cause this. I dont know why. I have also noticed that Wordfence or Firefox may cause this. You can also 'disable' your plugins by FTPing into the plugin folder and renaming your plugins. It's a pain in the ass but it works.

Good luck. This drove me outta my fuckin mind.

Renaming the plugin folder would help.

Cloudflare is absolute crap. They actually slowed down one of my websites. I would nto recommend them esp their free services. WP-Script works fine for me on a centos server. I have all my plugins and wordpress asking for updates an they work fine. If you use cloudflare id say its with that. What do you use cloudflare for?

I use Cloudflare for country blocking. It has been great for stopping bots.

Thanks for that info tfto. I don't use Cloudflare but I do use Wordfence so I'll try deactivating that. Not sure what you meant by FTPing... is that a WP plugin?

I wish I could just get this kind of support from WP-Script. I submitted a ticket on this issue and of course never got a response. Love the script, hate the support. I wish they'd drop their marketing guy who sends me multiple emails everyday and hire a good support person.

WP-CLI and you will do things via Cron like you should.
