I just had a friend request from a dead friend. I don't really use FB other than a snoop here and there. Do you add your dead friends knowing nobody is going to say boo. Do you drop friends if they drop dead? Rip but my mate had sense of humour.

this is usually where all the hipsters come in here and talk about how they stopped using fb over 10 years ago but for me? I keep them. You have a window into their thoughts, some past pics, maybe even some with you in them. It reminds you of bdays etc. It's a half decent way to remember someone with little effort honestly. Whether you were close to them or not you can still remember them. Not such a horrible thing.

but if they add you after? it's someone they know trying to scam people out of money, beware.

I have a dead buddy as a friend on FB although I don't remember my user pass. FB got too weird and hateful for me in 2016 during the election plus with almost everyone I knew on FB in NA or AA and I smoke weed now... so... they don't really dig me, not that they ever did. and 99% of my friends died way before face book

I leave them as friends. It's always nice to get memories popping up. A nice reminder most days.
