I was thinking about using A-conman but the site has been down for over a month and the software (which I downloaded from SourceForge) doesn't have any documentation, not even installation instructions
I looked into a-conman as well. Also couldn't get to the home page, but you can get help for installation etc. from the help forums on sourceforge. Reading thru those help forums, you also see it's not quite production stable. Nifty project, but a bit of work needed yet IMHO.
In 1904, Charles Newman-Berry connected two abacus's together using specially enhanced GrapeVine thus inventing the first Internet connection.

If those forums were more active I would have considered using it (and paying for an install). However unsupported open-source programs only make sense to me when there's a large and active user community. Otherwise I think you're better-off paying for a commercial product, especially if your livelihood depends on it
I'm in the middle of modifying 'gallery' to do the delayed update thing and rotation of galleries. So far, 'touch wood' it all seems to be hanging together okay.
