    Google Analytics question

    in google analytics

    what does users mean ?

    unique or raw ?

    i mean individual users or total pageviews ?

    users is unique users per time period

    sessions is "raw" users per time period (ie, user counted more times if visits more than once...however google defines that, idk, maybe its via session cookie, maybe its 2+ hours or 6+ hours between visits...who knows)

    page views is the total number of page views...doesn't matter how many users, raw or unique...it just counts the total number of page views

      By default, a session lasts until there's 30 minutes of inactivity, but you can adjust this limit so a session lasts from a few seconds to several hours.
