Free stuff on Amazon

Every now and then in FB groups I'll see someone saying they want to give away their product on Amazon. You buy it through Amazon so you are a verified purchase, and then they want you to review it for them.

Yesterday on FB in a Microsoft Surface group someone asked if anyone wanted a free charger. The chargers from Microsoft are $80 a pop. They have a knock off.... Bought it for $23, got it in the mail today, looks great, works great, wrote a great review with pictures and got my money back.

I do these every so often.... Anyone else do this?

I'd totally buy something for a verified purchase & kick ass review I've done this multiple times with other electronic purchases on Amazon like headphones, LED lighting, touchless garbage can, etc.

I agree with you re taxes, but that's the gov's fault for allowing it.

You've got villages in Spain 50 km from anywhere.. Amazon with it's next day delivery is keep those villages stocked with shit they need.

Google doesn't pay the tax it should either.. do you not use that as well?

Nahh... As far as the police go these days, If they cant give me a ticket, or get me to pay a fine, then they dont give a shit anymore. Unless some kinda monetary value is gonna be paid to them, they cunt be bothered...

For example, a few months ago my neighbour was broken into while he was at work, and his brand new 65" Samsung TV was stolen.

Police just gave him a case number so he could claim on is insurance and that was all. Didn't send anybody out, or try and investigate at all. They didn't give a fuck!

Feel kinda sorry for him tbh, regarding the way the police treated the case, but on the plus side, his TV looks fucking great on my wall...

They are just selling Chinese knock offs most likely. I bought a battery for a laptop on Ebay once for a HP laptop.

Turns out the seller was the Chinese company that made the batteries for HP. The battery I paid $30 for showed up and had all the HP stickers on it. Meanwhile HP charged $90 for the same battery..

I did that once and it was a disaster. iPhone charger using Qi adapter with case that charged. $23 for a $60 product. Case got so hot it began to melt itself. I smelled the fumes and had it unplugged. Company apologized and sent another that I tried on older iPhone. Began to melt both cases and I had it unplugged. Dumped and got my money back fast.
