    Windows Programmer Gurus

if i have a program running, and i want to run another instance of the same program, but the program doesnt allow this... how can i get around this?

i know it has been done, i know it can be done, but i dont know how.... theres $ in it for whomever guides me to a solution...

-i've already tried loggin in as different user, it works, kinda, not stable...
-i havent tried to get someone to reverse engineer the sourcecode/hack it

Try renaming the executable. That works sometimes.

Hit up Spy++, look for the class name of the program you want to do this to. Make 2 copies of the executable, and one of them open up in hex editor. Go down looking for the class name and just switch one of the letters. Now open up the edited one first, then the main program. Should work.

you could also check the registry entry for the software

        HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\company\product

        some software has option there....

I could patch it for you if you still haven't found a solution.
