    Help! Coding exit window on click= false

    Not sure if that made sense, sorry not a programmer.

    I want to add code to my site, when someone exits the site I want an exit window to appear, but if they enter their email for example and click submit, to submit the form, I don't want popups to come up.

    You would have to do an exit=false on the submit button action of the form

    ex. INPUT onClick="exit=false" TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE=" Submit "

    you can view my html source at www.sammy4u.com and see how it is done there.

      I think in the form tag you can use onSubmit="exit=false"

          So I'll need some regular code also for the url to pop as an exit

              do like this

              < s c r i p t >
              var exit = true;

              function goddammit() {

              if (exit) {

              window.open('http://www.gofuckyourself.com');

              }

              }
              < / s c r i p t >

              be sure to take the spaces out of s c r i p t

                  onUnload

                  yes

                  view source of a page with exit consoles.

                  Or install the google beta toolbar and no more popups
