    "Pre Determined"

To those who believe that things are predetermined, at what point does this "predetermined" end / come to a stop?

If you're on the side of determinism there's nothing much you can actually do . . .

If you truly believe that things / events etc are 'pre determined'... Then why would you ever expect there to be an end? Unless you meant death of course.

so does "pre determined" continue after death? Lets just say things do continue after death, can you logically apply the same concept after death?

Yes, because to believe everything is PD, then EVERYTHING has to be PD. Not just for you, but for EVERYONE ELSE. So after your death of course it would carry on. If all the worlds events, no matter how miniscule and insignificant are PD then why would it stop when you stop?

Unless this is a 'Truman Show' senario, and we are talking about an individual believing everything for THEM is PD.

But then that's a different issue entirely...

i got into this very ridiculous argument with a neighbor just a few days ago. he's a god's will guy and believes everything is pre-determined for you by god when god created you.

even those who defy god's will and go to hell are pre-determined by god to disobey him.

                i mean really.
