Any good sample text for sites?

Unlike most here, I don't set cookies, nor gather, then keep data.

Or, if you're just a WordPress Blog with links to Cams? No Cookies, nothing.

You do however collect email addresses. I'd do some research on that if I were you

I think if you don't set cookies or gather emails or any other user data you don't need to do anything specific because so far wordpress is already compliant in its last versions. The debate is among people who already have mailing lists if they should send re-consent emails or no. To me, it's actually very confusing STILL.

Yes... when we "gather" emails with MailChimp!

Yes, in this case, you need to write on the page ( or checkout box) exactly what your subscriber will get giving you the email. After you have done that then I would go with double opt-in, and after all I think Mailchimp has already covered everything else you need.

I think every site should just block UK traffic.

Force them to use VPN's and force the governments hand to realize their stupidity and reverse the decision.

There are millions upon millions of sites on the internet. You really think the majority give a fuck about this?

Maybe the Alexa top 100k do but nobody else. What is the UK going to do, take a million full time/part time web masters to court?

Gdpr is not a UK lax but a EU one, so using your logic, traffic from all the region should be blocked.

Even better. At the rate the EU is going these days they will slip into a T3 payout category anyway

Seems a lot of sites/companies are just blocking EU users vs have to deal with this law.

                              Hard to believe that...

Comply with a law which is basically is "don't fool around with people data and just let them know what you're going to use them for"

if you do not use cookies on your website, i still think that a notice needs to be put on the site saying that the site does not use cookies, so that european visitors will know such

You don't have to do shit.

How are they doing to police this? And they will go after large companies with millions in revenue. Not some shitty (by comparison) adult site.
