Anyone Use this Software ???

Im Trying to find out how relibale it is and if it is Hard to setup

please let me know what you all think good or bad

We use it for the rotating ads on all our domains, all said we do around 250K impressions a day with it. I'll warn you though around 75K we had to move it onto a server of it's own so that it didn't cause any performance issues, so if you looking to use it for your freehost you'll do better to look at one of the one's written in C, but still should put it on a box by itself!

Are you runnin Pentium 133 servers? If not, then I'd say the software is a resource hog. Use AdCycle. If you're counting on 500K impressions or so, you can use it with mod_perl too.

Nah We use Dual AMD's

But it will be on its own Server

hi,
if u dont store the images in the database
and tune a bit the scripts is working fine
~20 req/sec is ok ...

i was test it on:
FreeBSD with MySQL on a P800 intel box with 512 MB ram and 9 GB SCSI disk (only for MySQL) is running fine ....

php ads is very complex script, uses more CPU than a regular PHP CJ IN/OUT.

I recommend a small one.
