Are trading scripts even a thing any more ? Do people use them and if so what are the better ones to use...

I doubt it. I had a product that ran a trading script hub and even when we did heavy bot filter, the traffic was 99.9999999999999999999999999% garbage.

Even the image trading / plug rush clone plugz that got bought by crakrevenue shut down.

Thanks for the input, so basically then I am guessing anything in the way of a free/traffic site is driven by what, purchased traffic and ad spots... I mean there seems to still be plenty of these kind of sites out there, like all the sites in Juicy Ads for example...

Yes people trade traffic still, its essential. The best way to find trade scripts if your not sure what to get is go to a bunch of sites you want to trade with and usually at the bottom of the site there will be a webmaster link or trade traffic link. Click it and see what script they use. Find a bunch and choose which one works best for you.

So I am not techie at all, speaking to a few peeps about potentially developing a site for us to pump traffic through to various revenue streams we have... probably going to be a bit old school and make it have a bit more of a TGP look as opposed to a tube look...

Want to eventually develop a bunch of free/traffic sites to create like a network/traffic hub to achieve a good flow of traffic...

Will be buying both traffic and ad spots to drive the majority of traffic through these sites... but don't want to miss out on any kind of traffic such as exchanges...

Trade with as many sites as you can to keep fresh traffic coming in. Buying traffic is good to get things going but you will need to trade traffic and develop good search engine positions to really rock it.

Trading is more less reserved for russians , since they keep most of trade powered sites. So unless you speak russian, no point to go into it :D
