I have been trying for four days to get my identity verified with Coinbase so I can purchase some Bitcoin. Guess what? "Verification failed' over and over and over...

Coinbase's support # says they are too busy to answer my call. LOL Their Updates page says their verification system is down. So what to do? Just sit and hold my wee little dicky?

A suggestion that could also be madness, would be to have someone else who is verified buy on your behalf and then send them to you once you are verified?

At this point, there likely isn't a whole lot you can do. It seems like all the exchanges are getting hammered. You might try a different one, but I don't know how much better it may be.

I signed up a couple of hours back, it failed on the first attempt but worked on the second. I sent my I.D. via the link to mobile phone.

Same here but in the UK we also have gamble aware and drink safely campaigns so I'm not surprised. Probably just covering a local law their end.
