    Any .net programmers?

I have a friend who is just starting out with a crypto trading software project. He is looking for a programmer who works in .net. He doesn't have much budget, so this is a deal which will be more about being vested in the project, rather than being paid up front. Anyone with the skills who has some spare time?

Why does this need to be .net?

    Thanks

To be quite honest, I'm not sure. I will ask him.

He had been told that .net was the best for use on multiple different devices, but he says that he doesn't care as long as it will work on all kinds of things, (mobile, desktop, tablet, etc...)

Thank you; that's exactly what I thought.

Now please go to monster.com and tell those employers to stop posting "Dream Sheets" to hire programmers.

I don't get it...... but anyway, I take it that you don't know anyone who would be interested?

              Actually you do get it.

Your friend asked/made a requirement that is not really essential and by doing so he/she shrank the available talent pool down to nothing.

There could be numerous ways to accomplish this task; but .net became more important than the task.

There are other requirements and experience needed to do this task and using .net is the least important.

Most importantly, you need a experienced programmer that has an interest in crypto currency and wants to invest his labor into the project.

Fuck what code/framework/widget the programmer uses; because it all does the same thing.

The caveat is choosing someone who uses things that are popular enough that you will
always be able to find someone to fill in or replace the programmer.

.NET programmers are not that easy to find right now, because businesses keep them employed. I am a .NET dev at a software shop, and we have trouble finding them. I agree with what others have said, find a good programmer (in any language/platform) who will do the job for your budget, and decide on the language/platform afterwards.
