Tech Google Drive Question

I need to transfer 900 small txt files from my host account to Google Drive. The plugin I installed gets content from there.

I can ftp the files to my iPad or laptop and then zip them up. But -- how to import to Google Drive? And then, once done, how to ftp to my host? I'll most likely use the iPad, unless a Windows laptop or tablet would be easier

IPad doesn't allow me to choose a folder or file; Windows does. I'm thinking this through as I type.

So .... Find Drive on my laptop or tablet, transfer the zipped files over, and proceed. Am I correct? In theory it sounds simple.

Add your FTP host and Google Drive. Then connect to both of them using the WebDrive and they'll show as normal windows folder, so then just copy the files.

Thank you . I'll install Google Drive on my laptop, grab ftp details, then install WebDrive. Sounds simple. I'll have to zip the files to put on Google Drive, right? (I'm thinking out loud). Then install WebDrive, set it up and it will ftp the zips over. From there, the plugin will unzip and save as drafts.

If that's correct, I'll begin tomorrow.

Ah, the files are on the server. So I need to ftp them to my laptop, zip up, put on Google Drive, then use WebDrive and plugin. I'm writing this down as I'll never remember. In actuality it's not difficult, just time consuming. I do the ftp and zip, then software does the rest.

Technically, yes. Great suggestion. Let's see, I'd use my laptop, ftp the txt files over, zip up, then email to myself after saving, just in case. Or, skip email and ftp the zipped files.

Both seem doable. I knew you guys would help me! Thank you. The hardest part is ftp'ing. Wifi here is thirty minutes, then you're disconnected and have to login again. Can't wait to move to get unlimited time online.
