I need Notepad PLUS

I've always used Notepad and I've always been satisfied but now I'm starting some big programming and webdevelopment jobs and I need some sort of Notepad PLUS now, meaning Notepad PLUS a few extra features/functions, namely:
- rule numbers
- variable tab width/size
- automatic wordcoloring
- supporting html, javascript, php, perl

DOES ANYONE KNOW A (FREE) UTILITY LIKE THIS?!?

There is a really cool "notepad for developers" util out there, I think it's called GoldEd. But i am not sure.
