need easy .wav audio file program

hey peoples,

happy halloween btw, hehehe.

i am looking for a good audio program to make .wav files to add to my site. i have searched a bit but i am completely overwhelmed by the amount of stuff out there.

i am a total newbie to this, i don't need something with tons of features, just a simple program i can launch, slap my microphone on, record, and viola!

everything i keep finding reads like stereo instructions, and i just don't have time to sit and learn a complex software set up. it does not need to be free, just simple and user friendly.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hehehe, i am still tweaking on the quality, but here is the world premier of my first complete audio file:
