Blocking China

I'm not new but I thought this would be a good place to ask about this.

Is there any reason not to block China IP addresses from my server?

In my stats, every country has higher hits than bandwidth, except China, whose bandwidth is the highest of all countries and has very low hits by comparison. Which lends to be to believe that there are Chinese sites streaming my videos directly and not serving the website itself. Plus many hacking attempts I imagine.

I'm confident that I won't lose sales if I do it. Has anyone done this?

Can you tell us what kind of server do you use, dedicated, VPS WHM/cPanel, shared hosting?

Upon further inspection these high BW stats from CN are for the month of Feb, and it would appear that previous months were normal. Maybe a temporary anomaly.

Install ConfigServer Security & Firewall (csf), it is free and you can configure it straight from WHM, it has also country block if needed and all other features to be on safe side.
