    false dmca

I have a site that just lists links to homepages of sites. I saw a dmca that listed my url the homepage. My site has no images. Doesnt link to torrent hash or any thing. This looks like a false claim to me. Should this be countered?

maybe one of your links has changed to a torrent or file share site.

You need to check all your links on your site, otherwise, if you're not breaking any laws, I wouldn't worry about it

You should file a counter-DMCA notice.

yes man, this happenned to me, when degban idiots have been around. i have been sending sales to sponsor, sponsor happy with it, but fuckers degban reported my site so no sales and sponsor unhappy with the degban move. maybe you have been also unlucky with some dmca company that knows shit about business but is making money on the number of filled dmca. in the dmca you have to see who post the dmca, so you can find why your site have been reported, i mean there will be some big sponsor or something, so just contact the sponsor, say they are motherfuckers who are fucking with your business so they can possible help you with the counter dmca. some people are simply dicks. have luck!

I wasent worried about the dmca. I emailed the sponser and filled a counter. I was trying to figure out why i had a drop in search lately. But i dont think one dmca would do anything to search. I think I have a idea now looks like google changed my title. I do have a couple links that link direct to torrent sites. But I dont link directly to any files or file pages. Only hompages of websites. All files on torrent sites arent illegal. Or it could be a link to a sites homepage that has streaming videos.

What happens after you submit a counter? It didnt even give me a place to enter my url. I dont want to end up in some bull shit lawsuit.
