why does some mp4 files do not play in video js html5 player is this do with codecs?

or could this be no structure i.e breaking max width and height

Maybe those mp4's aren't streamable therefore the whole movie must be downloaded before playing starts.

how can one check if an mp4 is streamable or not, i have spoke with a program owner he also thinks its structure but i will look into what u say

just to check with you so a viewer would need to let the file buffer in the player totally to play, also with this problem mp4 files the options you get on right clicking on player in chrome do not show,

on my tube i put up a message "if you have trouble streaming video within player right click and play in new tab this works with ftvgirls files

Use Metadata Mover to move metadata from the end to the beginning of mp4 files. This allows any mp4 file to be streamed without needing to load the entire movie.

It's most likely codec. Mpeg4 instead of x264

MP4 is not a video format but a container. It depends of what is inside this MP4 container...
