Flash is dead, long live HTML5! Chrome browser would start blocking Flash animations completely

    The Killshot

The last of a long series of final blows against Adobe came from none other than Google.

Google recently announced that its Chrome browser would start blocking Flash animations completely in December 2016.

So ? if you guys still have Flash campaigns running ? now?s a good time to phase them out.

Yep, my chrome is blocking flash on some sites already.

Why is it that we don't have a choice though?
Somebody out there likes to play a flash game that has no html5 version.

I uninstalled the Flash "web" player some time ago, but Windows 8 still has some kind of embedded Flash installed, which cannot be removed, and it still installs security updates for. WTF is that all about?

So I did more hunting, and I guess it's something to do with IE.

I uninstalled IE, and now it wants to reboot. Typical Microsoft - uninstall a user level application, and a reboot is required.
