So, I am totally new here, but I have been involved in adult entertainment since 2008.
I have a couple small pay sites that I run and produce the content for. One is a pee fetish site, the other is a diaper fetish site. Originally, I just wanted a little extra side income, so money wouldn't always be quite so tight. Now, these sites are my main income source.
Having no background in the adult industry, I'm sure I did a lot wrong. I can't even start to count the number of mistakes I've made, and those are just the ones I've realized were mistakes. Still, I've been able to grow memberships pretty consistently and am doing well. Luckily, my naturally paranoid personality lead me to hire a lawyer, to make sure that everything I was doing was fully legal.
Right now, I feel that my business has reached a significant turning point. We are looking at leasing our first professional offices, hopefully we will be signing those papers tomorrow. And, we are also going to be hiring our first full time employee. Also, there are four more sites that we are hoping to launch soon.
So... that is my story. I hope that I am able to contribute to this forum in a positive way, and I am looking forward to learning from all of you who have way more experience than I do.
