sounds like you need a merchant account with a virtual terminal

You'll need a merchant account and a payment gateway, such as Authorize.Net (what I've used for years). This will give you a "virtual terminal", where you can enter individual or batch charges, as well as an interface to on-line shopping carts if you ever decide to do that as well.

I got a 3rd party right now that can do the Virtual Terminal thing for me, I'm tired of dealing with banks atm...but I will do that shit later...

right now I'm just looking for a quick and dirty/cheap setup that works....

the reason I'm shopping around is I'm trying to beat the rates of

              49 a month, 1 buck a transaction + 4.95% and 5% rolling reserve....

How mainstream is it? What are you selling?

BTW....Authorize.net is only a gateway. It's not a merchant account.
