This year we've done this, gone with a small cabin and again with a small camper.
The RV is by far the best option, but we had fun in the tent...until the downpour at 3am.
caravans & RV's are a better option for the safe sides, wash facilities, the rain with the roof, but for that one night of fun, it's great under the stars
We spend most nights under the stars on our roof solarium, the laptop on, the cam, the stars, vino, nothing better for 7 or 8 months of the year

When I was a kid used to tag along with the grandparents to Indiana and they started with a tent. Was a shower you could walk to though. One time stormed so bad had to sleep on chairs as floor of the tent was underwater. Another time gramps left the trash out and raccoons came out the woods for an invasion in the middle of the night for some bacon grease.
They did the tent for maybe a year and then bought a pop-up camper which was hella nicer.
Camping tradition carried on to some of the girls of the other families that wen't with us as I still know them and they go on a regular basis. Didn't carry over for me, was fun as a kid but think I'm more of a hotel guy now.

I know we enjoy it
You pretend to be a woman on line and your wife fucks people for money, we have 4 kids. I think it's safe to say we're not interested in the same things.

You complete idiot.
I say this, because anyone whom assumes is usually an idiot.
First, we, my partner & I have 3 children. Secondly, Gary & I were always taking them away for family holidays to Florida & other destinations in the UK, caravanning & enjoying family times.
I think your book's a little late, been there, seen it and done it, now we're enjoying time with friends...
Pick up one of those extended (I think they say 5 days) coolers and pack it with ice. You can then have a second cooler with water and some ice to keep all your food and replenish with the ice from the other cooler. Bring a mosquito hat and net. Bring weed and a couple bottles of spirits and you will be good to go.
when you have to pay to use a fire pit and pay for the wood, you know you're not somewhere basic / in real nature. You're at a horribly commercialized camping ground which sounds awful.

is that ok cunt!
I have a feeling that candyflip is right - you' re a man pretending a woman. I have been in that in some forums for the sake of bizniz.
basic camping for me is a pop up camper and a fire pit is always needed not a option.. I haven't been camping on over a decade but my family has a pop up.
I do it all the time but I use my van not a tent. I never plan it, I just say fuck working I'm gonna go explore in the mountains. 9 out of 10 time that equal me finding a random Forrest road and finding a spot to camp out.
This was last week..
This was the other view..
Can't have fires right now which sucks because they had a big fire up here so the whole area has a ban at the moment.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

not necessarily true. Provincial parks in canada are almost all like that these days, but it has more to do with protecting the trees by the trails and fire safety than it has to do with commercialism.
They definitely charge too much to stay there, that I agree is stupid.
