Those clowns fucked me over and then wouldn't admit it then they would now they won't (depends on who I talk to on what day)
And they apparently are no better about paying claims tHan they ever were

They essentially decided to call me a car dealer AND a taxi driver and apparently nothing can possibly be done to fix it
Once when they admitted to what was going on they grilled me for over an hour asking me questions and asked me to fax in all kinds of proof of everything and made me think it was all fixed and wrote me a policy
And then 2 weeks later they tripled my rate and cancelled me and fucked me again

Last year sometime out of the blue BAM
They cancelled me and then I could not get ANY major carrier to write me AT all
Meanwhile any quote I got anywhere was DOUBLE my usual rate
Now with the ONE carrier who will write me AT ALL my rate is TRIPLED

When all of this happened absolutely nothing had changed at all in any way. Nothing. There was no reason at all.

I should've known allstate was bad

If your vehicle is used commercially or in trade to make money personal vehicle insurance will not pay <(period)>.

• Commuting to work is not commercial use.
• Using a truck or van for hauling loads or delivery is commercial use.
• Using a passenger auto for a taxi fares or even pizza delivery is commercial use.
• Buying and selling cars and insuring them as personal vehicles is a breach of a personal vehicle insurance policy -- that is with ANY insurer.

I've been with Progressive for ten years now, never an issue. No one seems to be able to beat their prices. My wife had a little accident a few years back, we took it into a shop, had it fixed, paid our deductible, no issues.

State Farm is what I've been using for the past 8 years, pretty good service, always on top of things and great rates.

I quoted a few big names on my last 2016 model bought a year ago. State Farm, Progressive, Geico, Allstate, Farmers etc... and Allstate and Farmers were damn near double. Progressive slaughtered them all by quite a bit. 6 months later ran them all again and same shit Progressive won again. Just ran them again for the start of my 3rd 6 month term but just ran State Farm, Geico and Progressive since others were damn near double twice in a row, State Farm and Geico getting closer but Progressive still won. Figured State Farm would win since homeowners policy through them but Progressive still beat them.

Actually had someone hit/run my shit in parking lot and very quick response from Progressive. I'll still run the 3 every 6 months just in case but so far Progressive has won 3 times in a row.

I liked state farm as well when ever I use to be able to afford them
State farm would probably send naked angels if you broke your leg on a national holiday that's how good their service is

I'm aware of pizza driving or anything you had mentioned being unacceptable on a personal auto policy and I proved to them TWICE that no such activity had happened

Then they even said there's a business associated with my old address because I had a business name on a CC .. what. ... twelve years ago
The guy basically even said I need to prove a negative (the nonexistence of an entity)
So I said ... I'm not sure of how to prove a negative ....

It has all just been a huge mess
What I really don't like is them sometimes claiming to know nothing but at another juncture they'd grille me and have me faxing proof of this and that and another thing

If they decided to drop me and cancel me that day out of the blue .. fine... Fuck you too and goodbye ..... but when they mess you all the fuck up indefinitely with ALL other carriers because they punched in erroneous nonsense that is RIDICULOUS

I was already paying high rates relative to other morons around here but I had 250/500 and $100 deductibles and everything else ... it was expensive but at least I felt that I was getting something for the money
