So, after some recommendations of people who said 'this is not your standard superhero movie' i watched it a week or so ago. Just got reminded about it.

I turned it off after 40 minutes. I rarely do this but I just couldn't take it anymore. I have never cringed more in that amount of time. Holy shit did this sucked and i gave it plenty of chances, I hung in there longer just hoping it would improve. The infantile attempt at potty humor completely missed the mark. It could have been so much better if the comedy was as mature as the 'R' rating. Over the top childish crap.

Some compare it with 'Kick ass' - they're wrong. I actually enjoyed Kick ass, it was a pretty cool, entertaining movie with actual real comedy that made me laugh.

I've watched it last night. And wasn't expecting anything special so it was ok. Actually, I've laughed many times .

I thought it was overrated honestly, but still fun to watch. It's no surprise that the op hates it though, he hates everything popular. Kick Ass? seriously?

I watch all of the Marvel movies. DC stuff to me is second-rate, though Suicide Squad looks great. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is still my favourite. I'm really looking forward to Doctor Strange coming out this fall.

Never been a fan of all the cartoony superhero movies that have been coming out, but I loved Deadpool..although the verbal diarrhea/dialogue spewing got to be too much at times

Can't win them all, can't like them all... I did pretty much similar what you did, it took me even less if I recall correctly. I think that the idea is good, but that's pretty much it.

Definitely not an amazing movie, but I liked it! It gets by being as crass as possible, which I can dig. I think their marketing for it was the best though!
