raid card question

If I am using a promise raid card (2 hds, raid 0). And I want to change the card to another brand.

Will all data lost because of changing?

Different cards = different drivers

Normally, you should be ok, since you are keeping the same raid configuration.

But as you know, some risk are involved.

Be safe: backup your stuff.
