    Voting

Why do the same people that say you have to vote, not voting is a wasted vote. Men and women died so you can vote get so upset when the result goes differently than expected?

It was the highest turnout since 1970 so I guess a lot of those that wouldn't bother to vote did so and now these people complain.

Where I live, voting for local elections is aiding and abetting criminals.
I believe NYC & Chicago politicians send people here to be corrupt.
The big deal in Oakland CA of 3 police Chiefs in 3 days, big deal. We once had 3 different sheriffs in one day.
Some gang banger's grandfather put up $65,000 in bail. Kid went to court, grandfather asked for his money back. Seems the sheriff's office embezzled it to finance jail operations. So the sheriff and under sheriffs all quit. Due to state law, the county clerk became sheriff.
The prior sheriff had federal charges & time for mistreatment of prisoners
One of his sons is doing federal time for attempting to kill a witness against him and the FBI believes either he or a paid shooter killed the district attorney.
His son in law was arrested by the Secret Service with printing equipment and over $5,000,000 in funny money.
Here you vote a guy out of a city job, he goes across the street to the court house and gets a county job that pays even more to do nothing

I feel like voting in practice is a lot like that episode of south park where Stan has to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.
