i need some help

i bought a spot on shemp's tgp and i cant seem to convert. first row, first one.

i just received so far 700 uniqes. that is it since the new update.. 3EDT

the ctr is 1% and i can change that since this is my doing.. but i was thinking i would receive alot more traffic from shemp?

im not trying to badmouth him. im sure he has great traffic, but i just cant seem to figure out why i dont have more.

if this is a newbie thing, fine. but from what i heard from ppl, they have made at least what they paid for in terms of a spot.

The big image at the top of the page is begging to be clicked. Should definitley be linked to your sponsor. There's a pretty good chance that a few surfers will click on that before they even reach the content.

I've also found that having text links in between image rows does a bit better than having all the content together with text links above and below it all. That way, the surfer can't help but notice the text as he scrolls down the page.
